Janice was born in Corcoran California
and moved with her family to Redwood City in 1954. Janice attended
Lincoln grammar school in Redwood City, until her family built
a house in Atherton where she graduated from Menlo Atherton
High School. Attending San Francisco State University she received
a Bachelor of Science Degree and studied for a Masters Degree.
Janice continues her education at the local colleges. Janice
currently resides in Belmont where she has lived and worked
for many years. Janice has three children who have attended
Belmont schools and all graduated from Carlmont High School
and are attending California Colleges.
Janice has been active
in the local communities attending fund raising events and
participating in cultural and civic activities. Janice is active
in California Federated Woman’s Club Redwood City, Native
Daughters of the Golden West, Golden Gate District Pacific
Coast Woman’s Press, Redwood City Heritage
Association, Italian American Woman’s Club, Past Presidents
of Golden Gate District and Golden Gate District Woman’s
Club. Janice taught dancing, gymnastics and swimming to peninsula
children, for many years. Janice was also involved in the restaurant
industry and is recognized as being the manager of Pine Brook
Inn until closure. After retiring from the restaurant industry
Janice studied real estate, received her license and became
a partner with Howie Clark. This partnership has been special
as they have know each other since they were young teens.
Janice
is excited to have Carleigh join the team as she brings excitement,
fresh ideas and a new energy to the business. The team with
youth and experience has something for everyone!
